Having watched Joe Calzaghe defeat Bernard Hopkins with a majority decision, former pound for pound king Roy Jones wants to fight the undefeated champion.
Roy Jones even says he will travel to Cardiff to fight Calzaghe, if that’s what it takes!

Roy Jones said: “I would love to fight Joe in front of all those fans in Wales. I hope we will have the deal done next week to fight on November 15.”
“I would see it as the best moment of my career. I am confident despite all I have achieved that my best moments are ahead of me.”
Roy Jones ruled the light heavyweight division, as well as others, some years ago before losing three fights in a row. However he has mounted a comeback and won all his fights since then.
As I recall, Joe Calzaghe’s promoter, Frank Warren, was openly trying to get a Calzaghe – Jones fight to happen back when RJJ was at his peak. It seems that now Jones has fallen from power, the tables are turned and its now Jones chasing a fight with the ever more successful Calzaghe!
However Joe Calzaghe is taking a break after the Hopkins fight and say of a possible Jones fight:
“Roy Jones is a tremendous ambassador for the sport and he can still fight. He’s still got that speed and that bit of magic there. But I’ve beaten one legend tonight and I’ll beat another one.”

Personally I think there are other fighters out there that Calzaghe could fight that are better than Jones, but if Calzaghe just wants a big money fight to end his career, Roy Jones could be it!
Jones could MAYBE KO Joe but JOE wouldn’t even make Jones smile. Joe’s little slaps wouldn’t even make ROYS CHIN itch. Overall Jones will be tired by 6 if he fights with Joe. Joe will slap for 12 rounds winning. Roy would have to KO this disgrace of a boxer for a victory. FAGZAGHE would hopefully take this and walk away from boxing. Nothing more than a guy that never was, that beat a bunch a nobodies and cheated a victory in the US over Hopkins to become somebody for a SHORT SHORT period of time. That’s Joe Calzaghe in a nut-shell. I call Calzaghe a CHEAT, especially if everyone’s calling Hopkins the cheater. I just don’t see the math on that one there little guys. Like I said before IT IS WHAT IT IS. We gave the BRIT his victory last Saturday night. Shame on US.

If you can’t accept that, then perhaps you and that cry baby Hopkins can comfort each other in true fag style! I bet you’d like that! You probably got off when Calzaghe pretended to butt rape Hopkins, like the dirty, cheating b*tch that he is!
Calzaghe rules! Even Roy Jones Jr can admit that, so no one cares if a loser like you can’t! Calzaghe has an undefeated record of 45 wins and 32 KO’s. He is a legend! If Hopkins had beaten him then Hoipkins would have been the ‘legend killer’.
Calzaghe will beat any boxer who fights him, American or not!

Roy Jones vs Joe calzaghe would be 1 hell of a fight I am a huge huge fan of both these fighters the pavlik fight doesn’t interest me at all no offence pavlik but Roy vs Joe clzaghe is the golden ticket, roy jones is a living legend joe calzaghe is a living legend this fight would be unreal if it happened please god make this happen i am from the east end of london i love boxing im 26 and admire both fighters make it happen frank please
