The so far undefeated Amir Khan is still undefeated, he was knocked down though, and it looked as though Gomez was going to win after a deadly left hook in the opening sequence of the second round. Amir Khan managed to come back from this with a fast combination up close, and a brutal uppercut.
The fight was stopped in the half way through the fifth round by referee John Keane. This has seemed to show that there may be cracks in the great commonwealth champion, Amir khan. Will this happen I anther of khans fights? Will khan not be able get up next time? This fight has shown us that Gomez really is finished, and that Amir Khan is not everything that we thought he was. With Amir Khan being knocked down I this fight, it may be that his next fight will be more interesting, and that Amir Khan’s new trainer is not all he is cracked up to be.
With this being Gomez’s last fight, we will not be seeing him in the ring again, but with a film about his life coming out in November we, will be able to see every time that he has had a “comeback”, and won. Amir Khan was favourite to win this fight, and I think that those that had money on him would have been very scared when they saw he went down. It could be that Amir khan may not be able to defend his title much longer.

i fink amir is really talented and really gud lukn i am 1ov amirs millon fanz but so lst coz he lst 1fyt agaist prescott surly dun mean hez a bad boxer actually dis makes hm eager 2 show all ov u hu fink dat hes not all dat of a gud boxer dat hes only human not superhuman but dis human has a boxn abilty so hpefully nxt he will win hz nxt fyt coz hez amir d golden boy….luv ya 4m anisah
