After Khan won the IBF inter-continental light welterweight title last month he is now set to box again, this time in Wembley, against the Frenchmen, Medjadji.

Mohammed Medjadji is a French super featherweight and he will face to unbeaten 20 year old Khan in Khan’s 11th professional boxing fight at the Wembley arena in London.

This lightweight boxing contest is on the undercard of heavyweight Audley Harrison against Michael Sprott and Graham Earl versus Michael Katsidis.

Amir Kahn said: “I’m just going to go out there and do what I normally do and put in an outstanding performance”

Khan also sees a fight with the Luton lightweight Earl in the near future: “I’ll definitely be watching the Earl fight on the night and I’d love to fight him in the future.

“If he wins the WBO title then a fight against him later this year would be more than realistic. I’m getting stronger every day and I want 2007 to be a big year for me. I’d love to be fighting for a world title by end of the year, and in between I want to win British and European titles at lightweight.”

Can Khan do it?

Can he fulfil his ambition to match Naseem Hamed’s record of becoming a world champion at 21?

He certainly has to talent, he has the support of all British boxing fans but can he put in the performances needed in the ring?

The last time Kahn boxed was in December of last year when he won his first title: he IBF inter-continental light welterweight title by beating the Rachid Drilzane.

Since then Khan has relinquished the crown in order to concentrate on the lightweight division.

What do you think of Khan’s upcoming fight and he future boxing career?
