If you are an amateur boxer, then competition boxing gloves are essential for use in bouts.

You don’t really have a choice here, every boxer must use this competition standard equipment if they are to compete in official amateur boxing fights.

When buying boxing equipment, I tend to favour the traditional boxing brands like Everlast, Lonsdale and Title. However generic sports names such as Adidas can sometimes do the job just as well.

These Lonsdale boxing boots are not a bad buy for your average boxer. I wouldn’t recommend these to beginners, but to any boxer who knows how they fight and what style of boots they prefer, these could be a smart purchase.

The boxing boots feature full leather upper construction, so they provide a decent amount of support, but most importantly the leather means that these boxing boots will last as the leather is good quality (read more…)
