The previous heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has been talking up a storm, accused of put a contract out on the members of the Brooklyn drug gang that were previously accused of killing Mike Tyson’s friend, and old bodyguard.
A witness, Dwayne “Thor” Meyers, has testified that the former heavyweight Tyson put up the money to take revenge on the killing of Darryl “Homicide” Baum. Baum was killed after allegedly shooting at the rapper 50 cent nine times (read more…)

The trainer Freddie Roach has added an interesting new twist to the story of the Filipino Manny Pacquiao by saying that Golden Boy Promotions might want to put up Oscar De La Hoya in stead of Ricky Hatton, also handled by the Golden Boy promotions. “To be honest with you I think Manny can beat Oscar”. The Mayweather-De La Hoya rematch on the 20 September was cancelled when Mayweather announced his retirement. The effects of this fight cancellation means that De La Hoya will only be fighting once more before retiring himself. Pacquiao paused ,as though it was news to him, when he was told of the betting odds for his David Diaz fight on the 28 June. Pacquiao was given -365 favourite to beat the world boxing council lightweight champion at Mandalay Bay.
On the other side, Diaz was given a +285, meaning that a £100 would pay out £285, whereas you would have to pay up (read more…)
