Although, Chad Dawson did outbox and outclass his opponent, Tomasz Adamek, he was forced to climb off the canvas before winning the WBC Light Heavyweight crown off his opponent.
This fight was the main event on a packed out Don King boxing card in Florida.
The fight showed Dwason using his superior hand speed and a southpsaw stance in order to baffle polish Tomasz Adamek.
Adamek first went down in the 7th round after taking a body shot, but I think that at this point he was not that hurt, simply off balance slightly.
It was nearly over in the tenth round for Dawson went Adamek caught him with a perfect right hand to the inside. He went to the canvas but beat the count and continued to win the bout with marks of 118-108, 117-109 and 116-110.
This makes Chad Dawson the new WBC Light Heavyweight Champion, although Adamek has vowed to return and win back a world title.
What did you make of this fight and what do you think about the new Light Heavyweight boxing champion, Chad Dawson?

Thats it true. Dawson dominated and Adamek should have thrown a lot more punches.
When Dawson attacked, there was no counter attack from Adamek, he just waited back for Dawson to attack again instead of throwing some punches and attacking himself.
