
Luis Collazo was out classed by “Sugar” Shane Mosley as he manages to win by an unanimous points decision to lift the WBC interim welterweight title in Las Vegas on Saturday.
He got scored 18-109 118-109 119-108 and put Collazo down in the 11th round.
Luis Collazo one won one round, round two, and has previously lost his IBF belt to Ricky Hatton.
Previously, Mosley has held the full WBC Welterweight title from 2000-2002 and he has also won titles at lightweight and light middleweight. Since 2002 he has mainly fought in the light middleweight division but he is expected to fight in the 147lb weight in future.
“It feels good to be a welterweight again. I felt light on my feet” he said.
Also on this boxing card, Vivian Harris of Guyana became the top contender for the WBC light welterweight crown as he beat Juan Lazcano by an unanimous decision.
