The doctor of British boxing hero, Scott Harrison, wrote to the Spanish court in order to postpone his court case.
Scott Harrison, from Glasgow, was supposed to be in a court in Malaga to face alleged charges of attempted theft and assault back in October.
Barry Huges, his boxing manager, said on Thursday that he was planning to fax the court with a letter from Harrison’s doctor, asking for the court case to be postponed.
Therefore, Harrison will not have to go to court until March 15th after the Spanish Court accepted his reasons for not showing up.
Scott Harrison was forced to spend 5 weeks in prison in Spain after his arrest on October 6th.
He lost his WBO featherweight title after he pulled out of the title defence that he was supposed to make against Nicky Cook in December.
In my opinion, the sooner this is all over, then the sooner Scott can put it all behind him and concentrate on his boxing.
What do you think?
