David Haye has been named the new Muhammed Ali of boxing. The new saviour of the heavyweight division has been signed by Golden Boy promotions in the USA. Richard Schaefer, the powerful chief executive has said that he has got a future superstar by signing this contract.
Haye will probably be fighting Hasim Rahman later this year. Schaefer has said that he thinks that David Haye will bring the excitement and charisma of the great Muhammed Ali. He also said that “We believe that David Haye will be the face of the sport in the heavyweights”, and added that “We think the heavyweight division was in dire need of a face. The heavyweights are the glorious division of the sport”.
This will hopefully bring more excitement to the otherwise DULL heavyweight division, whether it will bring back the days of Muhammed Ali, only time will be able to tell. “We at Golden Boy Promotions were waiting to make our foray into the division because we felt there was no-one who could capture the imagination of the public”, the words of chief executive Schaefer. It seems that the heavyweight division has gone dull over the past few years. ”And he’s done it in typical Haye style by declaring he will fight two top 10 ranked heavyweights from the start - and then take on Klitschko”, Schaefer then said. It appears that Schaefer has great belief in his upcoming star.
Will Haye bring back the excitement of Muhammed Ali?
Who would win a Klitchko-Haye fight?
I for one certain think that the heavyweight division needs some spark and even if Haye isn’t the next Ali, his presense will help give this division a boost.

DAVID HAYE IS NO SAVIOUR NOR IS HE EVEN IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS ALI WAS - ALTHOUGH HE DOES HAVE THE POWER TO BE A GR8 HEAVYWEIGHT HE STILL HAS ONE FATAL FLAW HIS GLASS JAW

I became a huge David Haye fan after watching many of his fights online and then after watching him demolish Enzo Maccarinelli I became a believer in his heavyweight aspirations. He’s a great athlete, and he’s got charisma as well as some big yet honest opinions about the fighters in the heavyweight division.
I would really like to see Haye become the face of boxing. Skills, class, charisma make Mr. Haye an exciting prospect if nothing else.

The heavyweight’s is a sad story! WHEN TYSON LEFT BOXING, BOXING IN THAT WEIGHT CLASS LEFT WITH HIM. All we had after that was a PIECE OF SHIT LEWIS, a REALLY OLD Holyfield, The ROBOT Klitchko and now David HAYE the saviour???????… THATS SAD! NONE would have lasted SECONDS in the ring with the PRIMED IRON MAN MIKE TYSON. I dont believe there will be anything like him again. Tyson was so good he spolied us in that weight class.

TYSON was OK in his prime. But later on in his career he proved to be a useless waste of space.
Not only did he finish his time in the ring on a BUM note he was in fact also a complete BUM personality wise.
