Easy Tenth Defence for Narvaez

The WBO flyweight world boxing champion, Omar Narvaez, easily defended his title by a unanimous points victory over the challenger from France, Brahim Asloum.

Omar Narvaez now has his 24th win in his 26 fights and he is still undefeated as the other two boxing bouts ending in a draw.

The 31 year old Omar Narvaez now has defended his title on ten occasions since he claimed the crown in July 2002 when he beat Adonis Rivas.

For 2000 Olympic champion Asloum, Saturday’s defeat in Cannet-Cote-d’Azur was his second reverse in 23 fights.

What did you think of the fight?

Can Narvaez move on the fight the other champions in the division?

Could he fight and beat names such as Vic Darchinyan, Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, Roberto Vásquez and Lorenzo Parra in order to become the undisputed flyweight champion?
