Zsolt Erdei easy boxing win

Danny Santiago was simply out of his league as he was stopped in round eight of his fight with the WBO light heavyweight champion, Zsolt Erdei.

Erdei from Hungary, put the challenger Santiago on the canvas with a strong right hand 2 minutes into the 8th round.

Danny Santiago (29-3-1) was a pretty easy opponent for Erdei (26-0) who has held the title for 3 years as opposed to Santiago who is ranked 14th in the world.

Erdei said: “I would like to fight a big name in the US next, or a unification fight”

In my opinion he needs some more big fights as picking off boxers like this may be easy but it is not furthering your career as a boxer.

What do you think of Erdei’s win and his future as a pro boxer?
