Enzo Maccarinelli is set to make his second defence of his WBO cruiserweight crown against a challenger from across the Atlantic, Bobby “The Machine” Gunn.
Enzo Maccarinelli is set to face this American challenger on April 7th on the undercard of Joe Calzaghe’s WBO super middleweight title defence against Peter Manfredo.
“Machine” Gunn is based in New Jersey and is the current holder of IBA world title after his victory over Shannon Landberg last September who he beat inside seven rounds. His record is currently at 16 wins, 13 KO, and two losses.
Enzo Maccarinelli was aiming for a sight with his domestic rival, David Haye, but neither camp was able to make an agreement.
After this fight Enzo Maccarinelli is hoping to fight the winner of a proposed fight in March between WBC and WBA titles holder O’Neil Bell and Jean-Marc Mormeck.
How will Maccarinelli fare against Gunn?
