Everlast Deluxe Nylon & Vinyl PVC Sauna Suits

By Boxing Daily, Posted October 3rd, 2006
Topic: Boxing Equipment, Boxing Fitness

Everlast have produced these two different sauna suits; one is made from nylon and the other is made from vinyl. They are both superb for aerobic conditioning.

Everlast Deluxe Nylon & Vinyl PVC Sauna Suits 1

They can be worn for sparring, shadow boxing, bag work, pad work and running. They are not just for boxers either; they are perfect for anyone who wants to lose weight.

Everlast Deluxe Nylon & Vinyl PVC Sauna Suits 2

These two-piece outfits have an elastic waist, cuffs & ankles.

They are full-cut for a snug dynamic fit and are made of durable EVA or PVC fabric. I have worn these in training and out running and they are great for making you sweat – seriously, they literally pull the water out of your body! The nylon suit is available in black or blue and costs just under £20, and the PVC suit is only available is silver and costs just under £10. Both styles are vacant in the following sizes: regular, large and extra-large.

Boxing-Daily Rating: 10 / 10 - These suits are great for work outs and Everlast are the best in the business. But I would recommend the nylon over the PVC.

If you have worn one of these suits or are interested in buying them please leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

  2. THe best place to go would probably Everlast themselves. Visit http://www.everlastboxing.com and type in ‘Sauna Suit’ at the top in the website’s search engine. Although you have to pay in dollars I would recommend buying from there.

  12. Hey Boxers! These suits are great to wear for your workouts! They open your pores and detoxify your system. You feel like a new boxcr when you pull the suit off. I literaly pour the water (sweat) out of my suit.
In the winter I wear long underwear underneath the suit. In the summer, a cup and undershirt are fine, or just the cup because the suit does feel good on the skin and you can feel how much you are sweating. I wear mine in combination with my headgear and gloves and work-up a good sweat!
I highly recommend you purchase one of these suits and step your training up a notch! Keep punching and keep boxing Brits’!

  13. These suits are great to wear for your workouts and many more activities that you may want to do wilst waring the sauna suit, the pvc sauna suit is far better than the nyllon sauna suit, it feels better on the skin because its made from pvc so when your sweating its just slippy, the pvc sauns suit also gets you sweating far more quickly than the nylon sauna suit, over all the pvc sauna suit is the one to buy and to ware, the suit doesnt always have to be worn for workouts as i know from experience, you can use it just as normal clothing as it a good fit, it can also be worn in place of pjs but warning! you will wake up drenched in sweat but that is ok if you dont mind it and are quiet happy to be waring it when your asleep, try not to wash the suit because it loses its nice pvc slip feel after you wash it and the elastic gets a bit tired, another thing to do wilst woking out in the sauna suit is to be drinking what as much as you can because it increeses the amoount of time you workout for and increeses your sweating witch is the main factor

  14. Hey Boxers - Those who want to get in shape and clean out their sweat glands while training! (detoxify.) The previous comment by Boxer 123456789 is excellent.! He “KNOWS” the silver Everlast PVC suit “inside and out” by his everyday use. He must be in swell shape!
I too have slept in the suit, but by accident, after consuming too many beers after a heavy workout. The suit was full of sweat, but at least I was hydrated.
To view these suits and how they are used during a workout go to Youtube.com and search under “sauna suits.” Click on either Kyle’s, Mike’s, or Dane’s workout. You will see a good workout you can do and how the suit operates. Keep punching British pugs !! Boxer Tim chicago, IL usa

  15. I am french, aged 62, and I still practice boxing for fun, health, fitness and ethics. As a child, I had terrible health diseases : asthma, muscular distrophy, overweight due to a problematic delivery (by a matter of fact, according to the obstetrician, I was not supposed to survive !) But, on my 16th birthday, I asked my father and mother a very special gift : to enroll me at a boxing club round the corner. There I met the man who made of me a man : Jean Charbon, a famous coach and a wise man. He did’nt sniggered looking at that fat breathless young boy, he simply said : “We can do it. Instead of suffering for nothing, you gonna suffer in hard work out to become an athlete.” And within a year, it was done ! Monsieur Jean, as we called him with great respect, imposed the boxers to follow the exemple of Cassius Clay (he was not yet Muhammad Ali) : wearing weight at ankles and fists plastic or rubberized sweat suits. He thought, and was right, that oversweating improve your heart capacity, help you to “dry” your muscles and detoxify and is so tiring that when you fight on the ring without it and without the weight, you feel marvelously light and quick. Some boxers were reluctant in wearing those motor bike or military rain suits (sauna suits were unavailable in France in those times), but I liked it.I was fascinated by Cassius Clay and his Everlast silvery shiny sauna suit… And you know what happened ? To reward me of my courage and my rebirth as an healthy athlete, Monsieur Jean, turning from a trip in the USA, had a gift for me : Yeah ! THE Everlast silvery shiny sauna suit, and a black satin robe, and a headgear ! From now, I’ll be an other Cassius Clay ! Since that day, I always owned an Everlast sauna suit… I can’t remember how many I bought, because it must be said : this is their only defect : they are fragile and tear easily. Anyway, I like them. When shadowboxing or working at the bags, when I have a glance at the mirror, I like the way I look, my muscular body moulded in this silvery shiny material (I wear the smallest size in order to be closely plastificated), a living and moving silver statue ! Thank you, Everlast ! And thank you, Monsieur Jean !
