Personally, I have never really understood why people watch things like Wrestlemania. You aren’t watching a fight, you aren’t watching a wrestling match, you aren’t even watching a sport.
You are watching nothing more than a drama show.
That’s right, to me Wrestlemania etc are no more a “sport” than CSI, Boston Legal or Lost. So if you like watching them then thats fine, I like Boston Legal, but don’t try and tell me that its a sport or Wrestlemania fan’s are “sports fans”.
What I find even more annoying is that people are treating Floyd Mayweather’s recent victorious Wrestlemania showdown as some kid of great sporting achievement.
Yes the guy was a lot bigger than him, but Wrestlemania is SCRIPTED so neither of them were fighting, they were ACTING!

I am interested to know what other boxing fans think of Wrestlemania and Floyd Mayweather’s recent participation in this “show”.
Its pretty obvious that Mayweather was just doing to for the money, and that’s okay with me, but don’t ask for any respect for winning a Wrestlemania match. Having said all this, I have great respect for Floyd Mayweather and I consider him the best pound for pound boxer around at the moment. Unless you take his retirement seriously, in which case I would name Pacman as number one.

Agreed, you can’t hate on him for MAKING MONEY. As far as giving him respect, I DO in a business sense. He made EASY money, pissed off all his haters even more which in return makes them follow his footsteps even more, which makes him more money. I do give him credit for that. Wrestlemania is a STUPID SHOW IMO. I can’t stand it. Did I pay for it? Hell no. Did I watch it on YOUTUBE because Mayweather was in it, YES (I give anyone permission to make fun of me for doing so). Anyway I used to watch it back in the Hulk Hogan days, when I was a kid. Now it’s nothing more than a violent SOAP OPRA. Anyway Cotto won this weekend, if you didn’t think he was than you have major issues. I want to see Mayweather fight him. Cotto looked scared to even say the name Mayweather. It was crazy. I couldn’t believe how reluctant he was about mentioning his name on TV. ALL he has to do is call him out like HATTON did. THEN, after it’s all said and done Mayweathher will beat that ass. Maybe Cotto knows something we don’t? Interesting huh? Well I like Cotto but I don’t think he has what it takes to touch him. BUT I still want to see the fight. I think it would bring out the best in BOTH fighters. Truly a FANS fight, not a fighters fight. Neither one will step up to the plate.

well i cant say anything about this when i watched this i noticed how fake it looked its absloute crap i dont see the point in wrestling every move every punch it looks so false

very fake not very entertaining but floyd got paid, and kept himself active, and as for de la hoya part 2 everyone who doubts floyd ALWAYS is proved wrong Floyd Sr taught floyd jr everything he knows but its obvious floyd jr has picked up new techniques (hatton knockout) and will definately beat de la hoya
