Scott Harrison has been arrested on drug charges in Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street.
Harrison, 29, is the former WBO featherweight boxing champion.
Harrison is currently being held by police until he is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday. And then on Friday he is due to appear in a Spanish court to faces charges of stealing a car and assault. That was a separate incident.
A spokesperson for Strathclyde Police said on Wednesday: “We can confirm two men aged 29 and 35 were arrested and detained in connection with alleged drugs offences.”
Scott Harrison is still banned from boxing after he did not turn up for a British Boxing Board of Control (BBBC) tribunal last week.
