Recently, Junior Witter said in a statement to the media that he was more than capable of beating Hatton in the boxing ring.
Is this guy all mouth? Or can he really back up what he is saying?
In Witter’s opinion, “Hatton is deteriorating. He has problems with his eyes and I know he has problems with his elbows. He lets his weight fluctuate as well and at some point it’s all going to catch up with him.”
Witter has been gunning for a boxing match with Ricky Hatton for a while but insists that “Instead of looking to make the fight, his (Hatton’s) team seem to want to put obstacles in the way.”
I think people like Witter who have yet to prove themselves in the ring cannot really back up what they are saying. He can call Hatton whatever he likes, but at the end of the day Hatton has acheived a tremendous amount in the boxing ring, far more that Witter.
So its all very well Witter saying these things, but nobody will take him seriously until he proves himself in the boxing ring.
However if he can show boxing fans that he is the real deal…then that’s a whole new story…

witter is all mouth an wont be able to back it wen it comes to it altho he might go all twelve round he wont beat hatton no matter what he thinks

Hattons avoided Witter.Nigel Benn gave Micheal Watson his arch rival a very exciting fight which he lost,also he gave Chris Eubank his chance when he was a nobody,which he also lost.So what`s Ricky Hattons excuse for not facing Junior Witter?None whatsover.”Oh,i`ve got deals now to fight other fighters”.The deal for Witter v Hatton could`ve been made in an instant.But Hatton chickens out.

ricky hatton is no legend he has jus been lucky he will never want to face a fighter like juniour witter look what happened when he fought jon thaxton he lost yet he still won yet jono as a sportsman till this day says he won though he knew deep down he won but got robbed..
jono is a switch hitter just like juniour witter and is afraid of witter because he knws that this style of boxing is too much for him..
also most i mean ALL boxers in our gym are held back in the amatuers as the aba officials banned Brendan ingle from the amatuer scene and most boxers get robbed in thier amatuer fights.. And when they turn professional they get alot of critics..
barry miguigan if thats how you spell his name talks alot of you know what as hes paid by frank warren to praise his boxers andthey are not even as good as they say for example Amir kahn who is over rated and is only a Good STANDARD boxer who will beat any journeyman if hes lucky and will never fight any up and coming prospect from the ingles gym for example muhsen nasser or jon thaxton thogh jono isnt a young prospect but a very good vetran..
Amir also wants to fight for a world title before hes 21 but that will never happen because frank knws hes no way near at that level as for when frank had nassem hamed he kew he was the real deal and was not worried about naz losing as he knew he wudnt..Amir will get hand picked opponents who are no good.. if frank wants the REAL DEAL he betta drop at the ingles gym cuz that is wer true champions are born yet not getting the credit they get!!
