Britain’s Amir Khan is set to take on Frenchman Rachid Drilzane at London’s ExCel Arena on the 9th of December; a day before Kahn’s birthday. 19-year-old Khan said: “I have had a good look at Drilzane. He is not a bad fighter but I won’t let him ruin my birthday. This year has been pretty special, and it would be great to finish the way I started - with a first-round knockout.”
Khan will be appearing in his 10th professional bout against the 28-year-old Drilzane, who has won 10 fights out of his 13.Bolton boy Kahn, stopped Londoner Ryan Barrett in just 111 seconds of his bout prior to this which was back in September. Kahn himself said: “They always say a boxer’s first 10 fights are about learning the ropes, and I feel ready to be let off the leash after this one,” he continued by saying: “I want to start winning titles as soon as possible, and hopefully I will fight for my first one before too long in 2007.”
The night will also include bouts with Scott Harrison against Nicky Cook and Matt Skelton will be meeting Audley Harrison. It is almost certain that Kahn will be a world champion but it will take a little while; and he is definitely in good hands.

I think he will almost certainly win as long as he is not too cocky like he has been in previous fights. Because I would think that this opponent is going to be bit more of a challenge (well I hope that he is) and if Khan wins this bout convincingly then he will be a step closer to a title bout that he desperatly wants.
