This is a Lonsdale boxing glove perfect for sparring, pad work, partner work and bag work. It is completely made from PU and has a Velcro fastening wrist strap.
This makes it easy to put the glove on and take it off, and it also allows you to adjust how tight it is. The wrist fastening has the Lonsdale London label woven into it. This pair of gloves usually costs £22.99 but can be found at Sports World for under £10. It is available in the two following colours: red and yellow, and comes in the sizes: small, medium, large and extra large.
They can also be found with a Union Jack flag or St. George’s cross design, but these usually cost more. Due to their very low these gloves are perfect for boxing beginners. But for more experienced boxers or boxers who have vigorous training sessions I would recommend a leather pair of boxing gloves that are of a higher quality.
This is because I bought a pair of these gloves and after a few sessions they began to fall apart. If you wish to purchase a better pair of gloves, you obviously have to pay more, but a few makes that I would highly recommend are Title, Pro-Box and Everlast.
