The Commonwealth bantamweight champion, Tshifhiwa Munyai, stopped Martin Power in his second bid to capture the crown.

After 4 rounds of very one sided boxing, Power was retired into his corner after being totally outclassed by his South African opponent.
During the boxing fight, Power seemed to get a pretty nasty elbow injury which may have damaged his punching power and ability.
Even so Power was never in the fight and it was a wise decision from Johnny Eames, his trainer, to pull him out of the fight.
“Give him credit, Munyai fought very well,” Power admitted.
“But I picked up an elbow injury after the second round and it was restricting me.
“It was hard enough to fight him with two hands, but with just one I was struggling. I wanted to carry on but my corner wouldn’t let me.”
What did you think of this boxing fight and Londoner’s Martin Power’s boxing future?

martin will be back and will fight for the europeon belt in the near future. the munyai fight was a set back but we want to see napa take on power again or bernard dunne drop to bantam and have a top quality well matched fight.

I hope Martin Power can get back into boxing and start getting some titles, as it would be good if he could get a commonwealth or a european title for Britain.
But to do this he will need to put in much better performances than what he did against Munyai. He needs to box better if he is to be a champion.
