Ahead of his WBU Welterweight championship defence, British boxer Takaloo has teamed up with a new trainer for this fight of April 7th.
Oilver Harrison has teamed up with the Margate based boxer and he also coaches Olympic silver medallist and hot young British boxing prospect, Amir Khan.
I heard Takaloo’s interview with the BBC radio and he was saying how he felt that he needed something different, a new challenge, saying that you get stale doing the same things in the gym everday.
“If you want different results, you’ve got to make the change. A change is better than a rest.”
He added: “It’s always nice to learn new things, it’s not what you know it’s what you do.
“I can’t wait to get back into the ring now and I want to improve every time I fight.”
Do you think that his new trainer will give Takaloo’s career a much needed boost?
