These shoes have a height of only 6.5″ for superb takeoff speed and unrestrained action. A triumphant mixture of natural split suede leather, synthetic leather and nylon dazzle mesh make for the professional preference.
The two-tone firm rubber outsole is designed for additional lightweight and extended usage. The incorporated lace covers for extra style and hassle free action. These shoes are built for speed, style and stability.
Nike Lo-Pro Boxing Shoes are slightly narrower than other boxing shoes so if you have wide feet I suggest you order 1/2 to 1 size larger than normal size. They are available in the following colours: black/white, black/black, royal blue, red and white, and come in any size between UK5 and UK15. Nike is a well established boxing make that brings you style and a lot of attributes needed in order to be a successful boxer, and although they have a price tag of $64.99 they can be found cheaper on the internet and are well worth the money.

Your review is a disgrace. There is no such thing as a lo pro Nike Boxing shoe. This is a sidesweep V wrestling shoe with a RRP of $42 which you can find at stores for 30-35… All you have done is gone to titleboxing.com and copied the bloated price of $64.99 and shoe mis-information over to this website. Title Boxing should be ashamed of themselves for renaming this shoe to look like it came from the ‘lo pro’ family of sneakers and you for pretending to give a detailed review when you two the line.

Sorry, meant to say ‘tow the line’…
Comment by michal — October 3, 2006 @ 3:40 pm
but these shoes can be used for boxing as a guy in my gym has them.
he reckons you get more freedom to move as they are lower than normal ones that are higher and more rigid.
also i think that you have to use the price quoted by Title, not just any online retailer that could be a conman or selling fake gear.
also whoever wrote this did point out “although they have a price tag of $64.99 they can be found cheaper on the internet”
quit complaining, its a decent review!

No, Title have put a price of $64.99 on this item when they have a) Never sold it for $64.99, but reduce ot permanently to $49.99 to make it deceptively look like a bargain b) misrepresented the shoe as ‘2006 Nike Lo-Pro Boxing Shoes’ when in fact there is no such model, and calling it this tricks people into paying a premium for this shoe because they can’t find this model anywhere else (Because this model doesn’t exist, its actually a $42 Sidesweep V)

Hi, my names David and I write the reviews of the equipment that is published on this website. I’m sorry that I may have been wrong in saying that these boots are boxing boots when you think they are ‘wrestling boots’. Even if they are ‘wrestling boots’ they still offer the same qualities that a good pair of boxing boots would; such as they are light and provide support and comfort to the ankle. So even if they are not boxing boots they can still be worn for boxing – and to prove this, I have actually worn these shoes in training (as I do when writing nearly all my reviews)! I admit that I did look in certain catalogues and websites to find out the exact specifications of this product so that I was able to write an accurate review. In all the catalogues and websites that I used it clearly labelled these shoes as ‘fit for boxing’. So those are the facts whether you like to admit them or not.
Oh yeah, that’s a real nice play on words you have there: “when you two the line.” – It looks as if it is you that needs to get his facts straight ‘Michal’
To any other Boxing-Daily fans out there please feel free to have your say on the matter at the bottom of the page.
Thank you.

‘David’, what the hell sort of review is this, anyway? Your various sources are in fact one: Title Boxing, and you have copied word-for-word your entire ‘review’ from their sales catalogue. It is outrageous that you can call this a review when you are simply quoting a sales catalogue to such a degree. I doubt you have ever worn the shoe or you would have seen on the tags/box that the official name is Speedsweep V Wrestling Shoe, and by renaming it a ‘2006 Lo-pro Boxing Shoe’ people won’t realise that $64.99 is a rip-off, but will be none-the-wiser because any search for this misleading name will only bring 1 result: Title Boxing for $64.99 RRP, whilst a search for Speedsweep V will show its real pricing $42 RRP and down to $32 real world pricing. You are doing boxers no favours in not doing some basic research on items you review and this certainly questions your credability.

i have used these for boxing and they are quite good. they give good flexibility.
they may be classed as wrestling boots or boxing shoes but they work great for boxing and so they deserve a place on this boxing site.

I just recently got into boxing and was trying to find a good pair of shoes, thus google brought me to this site. Glad to have a resource like this (Thank you David!), but I do see Michal’s point - a lot of it seems to be taken word for word from a catologue or so without too much original content.
I didn’t really gain much information that a review should provide. The link below has the same exact information for the most part.

I will bear that in mind. When I first started this site that was one of the first articles that I wrote and I needed a source of information. I’m soory that the review was not as detailed as you would have liked so when writing my future reviews I will try to include more. But, just for the record, I have worn these shoes in training so I have given a first hand opinion of this item.

I own the SPEEDSWEEP V’s
not sidesweep
and on the sole it DOES say Nike Boxing.

Michal - Relax - Im sure you dont even really box - you will do fine pawing at the speed bag at your local gym in a pair of old tennis shoes.
Give the guy a break. So what he copied WORD FOR WORD from title. Its a SHOE REVIEW. Not life or death.
If you don’t like it, go elsewhere, or make a better site. PERIOD.

Comment by Earle — September 24, 2007 @ 7:21 pm
all i have to say on the matter, as a 3 times england finalist and now a pro, they seem the best sytle for pro boxing and amateur as they are lightweight , and allow your feet to move without slowing you down or restricting speed, so to the critics who are running folk down for training, boxing or other. . please do try it as any boxer will tell you , a good boxer has excellent footwork and needs this to get him out of trouble. .
