This Pro Mex head guard is assembled completely from premium leather. It puts forward exceptional face coverage with broad cheek protectors. It also helps to guard the nose and eyes as well.
Even though for all this extra protection does come at a price; your visibility is clearly obstructed by the extra leather. Although the latex foam padding does offer vast comfort and security for the head.
Whilst wearing this in sparring, although my view of my opponent was partially blocked, I felt really relaxed and safe and sound. It is only available in red but is the sizes medium, large and extra large. So if you have a small head you’re out of luck. It can be found over the internet for under £30.
Boxing-Daily Rating: 4 / 10 - Offers a lot of protection but it means you loose what no boxer can do without: sight.

I bought this headgear and was completley displeased from day one. It takes away from your vision, and the material is hard and thin- uncomfortable, and extremely protective when getting hit in the head.

Yes I totally agree with you. Thats why I gave it only 4 out of 10.
True it does give a great deal of protection to the boxer who is using it but that is pointless as you can hardly see anything and so this really hampers your boxing ability in the ring.
I would rather buy either this one:

or perhaps one of these

I hope this helps any boxing fans or boxers looking to buy headgear.
Remember to ask anyone question you want before buying - as this could save you a great deal of money!
