Well many people (including most of the team here!) thought that the fight between old timers Roy Jones and Felix Trinidad would be a lame fight with both boxers simply getting into the ring for a bit more cash.
However it was a fairly good fight, much better than we had expected, with Roy Jones Jr. (52-4, 38 KOs) winning a unanimous 12-round decision over Felix “Tito” Trinidad (42-3, 35 KOs) at New York’s Madison Square Gardens.
Although Roy Jones started of slow at the beginning of the fight, he picked up the pace to know Felix Trinidad down in the 7th and 10th rounds.
Trinidad said: “I’m not sure what we are going to do. Jones was fast and fought a good fight. I think the scores should have been closer. I will talk with my father and the people around me and decide what’s next for my career.”
However most boxing fans are more interested in what Roy Jones will do from here. It has been suggested that he face the winner of the Hopkins – Calzaghe in April however there are many possibilities including opponents like Jermain Taylor, middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik or even Winky Wright.
What do you think Roy Jones should do from here?
Should Roy Jones face Joe Calzaghe or Bernard Hopkins?

I thik Roy Jones should face whoever wins between Hopkins and Calzaghe, a possible rematch with Hopkins would be a good fight, or if he’s feeling lucky, Winky Wrignt would give him a run for his money.

Good idea Issac, I would like to see those fights, but only if RJJ looks like his old self a bit more. Nobody wants to see yet another washed up fighter step into the ring simply for the money.
