Manny Pacquiao has beaten David Diaz by a KO in the 9th round to win the WBC lightweight crown. Young British boxing prospect Amir Khan has said he is willing to move to the USA in order to team up with a first rate boxing coach.

As we have said many times before, Amir Khan is the best british boxing prospect at the moment and as British boxing fans we are pleased to see Khan moving closer to world class status.
In a WBO lightweight eliminator, unbeaten Amir Khan (17-0, 13 KOs) scored a seventh round stoppage of Martin Kristjansen (19-2-3, 5 KOs) on Saturday night at the Bolton Arena.

The young British boxing prospect Amir Khan, added another win to his record last night taking it to 16-0 with 12 knock outs.

Amir Khan beat Gairy St. Clair over 12 rounds to retain his commonwealth title at the ExCel Arena in London. Despite Amir Khan’s eagerness to fight for a world title, his promoter Frank Warren is wisely holding Khan back for a while to make sure that he is ready for a world title challenge when he eventually takes one on.
