After Palvik disposed of the Welshman on Saturday Night in Atlantic city, it seems that a fight between Calzaghe and Kelly Palvik is very likely. David Haye, the man that wants to be the first british heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis, has turned down a fight with Matt Skelton, and said that he would “rather retire from boxing”, than work with Frank Warren again.

This Saturday the World Middleweight Champion Kelly Pavlik is defending his title against Gary Lockett, but the up and coming boxer is already looking past this fight to bigger things.

In “The Sun” newspaper, boxing promoter Frank Warren announced that he has negotiated terms with Don King for Samuel Peter, the WBC Heavyweight Champion, to defend his title in the UK.
