Calzaghe has said that his future goal is targeted firmly on the former four-weight champion Roy Jones and not Pavlik, the world middle weight champion.
“There is some talk about me fighting Kelly (and) a lot of people would love to see it,” Calzaghe said. “However, at this point in time I think it’s unlikely to happen.

After Palvik disposed of the Welshman on Saturday Night in Atlantic city, it seems that a fight between Calzaghe and Kelly Palvik is very likely. Anthony Mundine has admitted that he needs to win high profile fights to make a name for himself in the boxing world.

Mundine defended his WBA super middleweight title successfully against Sam Soliman at Vodafone Arena on Wednesday night. Mundine won via a unanimous points decision as the judges scored the bout: 116-112, 116-112, 117-112.
