Joe Calzaghe has done very well to remain undefeated all this time and indeed he did well to go over to Las Vegas and beat Bernard Hopkins.
However there is talk of Joe Calzaghe being the great boxer ever….
Um… No!

Since Calzaghe beat Hopkins in a split decision, everyday seems to bring a new fighter out of the woodwork who wants to face the Welshman.
First to put his name forward was Roy Jones and now Antonio Tarver has said he wants to fight Calzaghe.
Just shows what beating a high profile yank can do for your career!

In the Daily Mail, Joe Calzaghe admitted that his low bow against Bernard Hopkins was fully intentional.
Calzaghe went on to beat Hopkins so do you do you think he should be punished?
Joe Calzaghe said that he hit Hopkins low in the second round on purpose as revenge for Bernard Hopkins knocking him down in the first round.

Roy Jones even says he will travel to Cardiff to fight Calzaghe, if that’s what it takes!

As we have said many times before, Amir Khan is the best british boxing prospect at the moment and as British boxing fans we are pleased to see Khan moving closer to world class status.
In a WBO lightweight eliminator, unbeaten Amir Khan (17-0, 13 KOs) scored a seventh round stoppage of Martin Kristjansen (19-2-3, 5 KOs) on Saturday night at the Bolton Arena.
