Many boxing fans have already written off Gary Lockett’s chances of beating Kelly Pavlik when the pair fight in New Jersey this Saturday.
However, Lockett claims this is just the motivation he needs in order to topple Pavlik and win the middleweight crown.

Well many people (including most of the team here!) thought that the fight between old timers Roy Jones and Felix Trinidad would be a lame fight with both boxers simply getting into the ring for a bit more cash.
However it was a fairly good fight, much better than we had expected, with Roy Jones Jr. (52-4, 38 KOs) winning a unanimous 12-round decision over Felix “Tito” Trinidad (42-3, 35 KOs) at New York’s Madison Square Gardens.

Bernard “The Execution” Hopkins defeated Winky Wright in their top of the bill boxing showdown in fabulous Las Vegas.
Two judges scored the fight 117-111 to Hopkins and the other gave the bout a 116-112 score.

Mikkel Kessler managed to defeat the brave Librado Andrade of Mexico by a unanimous points decision and so retains is WBC and WBA super middleweight titles.
The fight went the entire distance for twelve rounds at an extreme pace in Copenhagen, but the devastating combinations from Kessler marked the difference between these two fighters (read more…)
