The man who once knocked out Mike Tyson; Danny Williams, is set to fight a surprise rematch against Audley Harrison to replace the injured Matt Skelton. Skelton had to pull out of his Commonwealth heavyweight title defence, which is to take place on the 9th of December in London, due to the fracturing of his right hand in training.

So his replacement Williams has come back to step into the ring with Harrison nearly one year on from their first bout which he won with a split decision. On Friday night Evander Holyfield continued his mission for a record fifth world heavyweight title by beating Fres Oquendo in a “warm-up” bout in Texas.

The 44-year-old crusader put Oquendo onto the canvas in the first round but the pace of the bout soon decreased and Holyfield was awarded a unanimous points decision at the end of what can only be called a very boring bout.
