Still No Boxing License For Scott Harrison

Today the Boxing Board of Control rejected Scott Harrison’s appeal to regain his boxing license. The board choose to continue his suspension until the end of this year.

Harrison lost his license after failing to fight Nicky Cook and he was therefore stripped of his WBO title.

Despite setting targets such as returning to training by July, Harrison has continued to attract attention as he was arrested in Lanarkshire on April 22 on suspicion of drink-driving. This is yet another controversial incident surrounding this talented boxer, who as had to deal with drug charges and court appearances.

Do you think that the Boxing Board of Control should stop Harrison from boxing?

Would you like to see Scott Harrison back in the boxing ring?

I for one would always rather see a talented boxer such as Scott Harrison in the ring, rather than out the ring getting into even more trouble. Sometimes boxing provides the focus which stops you getting tempted by “other things”.

What do you think?
