Mehrdud Takalobiagashi, Takaloo, and his wife Sarah, have appeared in court charged with benefit fraud.
Takaloo and his wife appeared at appeared at Canterbury Crown Court.
They were both released on bail until April 30th when the are due to enter pleas.
The offences allegedly took place between April 2003 and September last year, the court was told.
Takaloo currently holds the WBU welterweight title.
This is a shame, especially for me as Takaloo is from Margate, near where I used to live for some time as a kid. Takaloo is a local hero down there and its a shame that someone of his talent is getting involved in this.
What do you think about Takaloo’s charges of Benefit Fraud?
Doesn’t surprise me at all - his whole family are completely dodgy. Just look at his parents - in and out of prison.
