  1. hatton is good at gettin inside on his opponents but i still feel most of the time its the clinching and huggin his opponents that wins most his fights, but a good fighter anyway

  2. I agree totally; I think that if he ever does fight Mayweather he will be completely outclassed. He is a real fighter whereas Maywaether is a boxer with a great technique. But lets not take anything away from Hatton because he really is good at what he does.

  3. Do not be too confident that Mayweather would outclass Hatton.
Ricky is no stone jug, he will give Mayweather a hell of a lot of what he has never had.
Both great exponents of what they do neither should be ignored or dismissed
Hatton would offer genuine opposition to Mayweather and vice versa
I would go with Hatton, our hometown fighter

  4. Obviously I would rather Hatton win but I just feel that he lacks technique. But hopefully he will make up for this will his heart, determination and power.

  5. Ricky lets himself down by putting on too much weight between fights, sure he gets down to the required weight but it takes a lot out of him having to get there. Great on the inside and will give Mayweather a problem that he hasn’t encountered yet.

  6. ricky does get a bit fat after a fight but i think this is what gives hatton his fitnessand his ability to work at outstanding workrates for the whole contest.

mayweather would be suprised when hatton onnects with one of his rib-crunching body shots and mayweather i dont think will have the heart to get up!!

in my oppinion hatton is the best fighter and still has more to offer.

  7. I hope Hatton does win. It would definately be the toughest bout of his career but if he performs as he did against Kostya Tszyu there is no reason why he can’t win.

  8. There’s no way Hatton could beat Mayweather. Mayweather is just too fast for him.

  9. I don’t think we can completely rule out Hatton - he is still a decent boxer. I do think that Mayweather has the speed and technical advantage but Hatton’s power and determination may be able to pull him to victory.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

  10. ricky hatton is a good boxer he is one of my favourites of todays boxers he makes the fights exciting he’s body punches are the best i think his best knock downs were with the body punches okay thanks

  11. His body punches are one-of-a-kind. It’s just whether he’ll be able to deliver them affectively against the quicker Mayweather.

  12. Mayweather doesn`t need Hatton anyway. After he beat Tzsyu its funny why he broke from Britains biggest promoter Frank Warren. He would`ve got the Mayweather fight made but he didnt want to know.He knows he would`ve got beat so he should fight Witter next before that one is too late

  18. Although he lost, Ricky is still mpre of an inspiration than Mayweather ever could be. He is the peoples hero -someone who respects his opponents, is up fot a challenge, fights with the heart of a Lion, and is as gracious in defeat as he is in winning. Get back out there Ricky, you could never let anyone down.

  20. the boxer that inspierd me the most is MOHAMMED ALI and AMIR KHAN but this is different as floyed is the best pound-by-pound fighter in the world. in few years time i think AMIR KHAN is going to be one of the best fighter in the world and ever will be. i think ricky should giveup on trying to fight mayweather again because i think he’ll just get Knockedout again but it’s going to be sooner then 10 rounds. ricky is younger and less experianced then floyed and in two or three years time they should set up a match between AMIR KHAN VS RICKY HATTON. this is going to be the best match ever.
